Groves-Raines Architects were appointed to undertake a feasibility study and prepare a scheme for full conservation and refurbishment of this imposing c13th – c17th castle. Formerly a hotel, the proposals involved altering and extending the castle to form a family home, with formal gardens also established within the footprint of a demolished 19th wing.
